The Cinnamon Wizard

A long thyme ago there was a wise sage with a penchant for the spicier things in life. Every year as the seasons changed and the chili Winter gave way to the sweetness of Spring, he found himself longing for something zestier. Something that mint more to him than all spices in the world.

One year as he gingerly rose from his adobo home, he decided to celery thing he owned and set out on a quest. He mounted upon his trusty horse, Radish, and embarked to find something that would satisfy his yearning.

His horse curried him far and wide, over dill and dale, as he searched beneath the cloud-peppered sky. But every village he visited was dried out. Even in his home town, Orega–no answers could be found.

He was about to give up and cloves down his adventure when he used his optical acumin and spotted an unknown tower on top of a mountain in the distance. He mustard up all of his strength and set off on one fennel attempt.

After a long clime that pushed him to his lemons, he arrived at the top and had to cit–trusting that this would restorange his strength. Once rested, he entered the maceterious tower only to be greeted with the most incredible fragrance he had ever experienced. It wafted through his olfactory system as he found the source of the scent and with renewed rigar–licked the unknown spice.

Every one of his taste buds lit up as his mind was carawayed to a land of bliss. He felt his soul float to another plane of existence as it rose – married to this newly discovered flavor.

No one ever saw the man come down from that mountain. Nobody knows what becane of him. But there are rumors that an aromatic man wanders the land poppying up when yeast expected to provide a dash of zest when it is most needed.

Who is this man? Some call him the Seasoning Sage. Others call him Guru of Gusto. But to those who embrace the deeper questions of life, he is simply known as… The Cinnamon Wizard!


Epilogue

Years after his departure, a new legend began to take root and grow. Sprinkles of dust would hop up unexpectedly. Nobody knew what the pepper meant or if something was anise, but some started to bayleaf he had returned.

Two brave adventures began telling stories of his capers. Every week they shared their marigolden musings as they parsed leafs of his whereabouts. They made everyone in the scovillage laugh with their tangy teasing, bold banter, and coriandering conversations. For four years it wasabieautiful marinade of personalities that brought an infusion of joy into the lives of all who lovaged to listen.

One never truly savors a good thing until it is tarragone. These two knew that only the good die young and they could nutmeg this last forever. They too must cormeander into the sunset in the footsteps of the great sage. Will they ever return? Nobody knows. But every once in a while if you travel to the fenugreek islands at dusk, and listen to the sound of the ocean waves as they swish and fssshaw along the junipers, when you look off across the lavender glow on the horizon you might just see three figures walking through the grains of paradise.
